- This work was originally the last painting I did before I decided to step away from art in 2023. Resurrected from a stiff beige grade, these ancient viridian monoliths stand together in a barren landscape steeped in red. One gazing out into it, the other, much older, engaging with this world instead. What it is watching, I couldn’t tell you.
