- Another piece drawing on the gestures of Butoh dancers, the “Sisters of the Frenzy” appear to peek out of a great shadow cast by a crouching figure. This is the primary for figure gazes into a pool of water, making horn gestures with the hands. Out of her head comes the winding body of a snake sprouting two more heads, that simultaneously appear to be attached to the insect-like form they create together, leaving anatomy a mystery. Their various expressions of madness emulate something like obsession, fear, and revelation. The painting consists of a limited cool palette of greens and cold blue glazes.
